This is where we can put things that are important to us that we want the rest of the family to know about. My desire is that my children will use this as a place to share thoughts they have and
things that they've accomplished. It could become an online "dinner table."
I know our family can grow closer if we will share our thoughts, feelings, and accomplishments with each other.
Let's hope everyone uses it!
I love my children, I'm so blessed to be their mother
Why helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo there.
NOt only has the beggining of my school year been interesting but it has been annoying. Crazy people at school annoy me to bits and nothing is worse than a teacher that doesn't care about what she
teaches. One of my teachers is that kind of teacher and she treats everyone like children. Blegh. Anyways, I mostly enjoyed my week of school by learning new things in Honors World Lit II I'd say
that is the best teacher and class that I have. I am really dissapointed by the amount of time I spend at marching band. There is nooooo letup and alot of people there are annoying. Well, I liked to
listen to music while I was in advisory so that was nice. I met new people like this one kid named -no joke- Subdue. Hes a senior in spanish 2.
Very few people are fun to be around but one of them, a saxaphone is tonnes of fun to be around. He is in like all my classes so thats good. Anyways, my week was annoying but fantastic!
Well, this is a bit...odd. But, my week was good. My mom and I did lots of shopping for college which was exciting but also a little scary just because of the amount of stuff I have to get. The
college I'm going to, their apartments are more popular than their dorms, so everyone also has to bring their own cooking things as well as some other stuff, so I feel that in comparison to one of my
friends I have a ton of freaking stuff. But it's fun to shop with my mom, I get to awkward when I'm alone. The company's great! But, that was pretty much all I did this week.
@Ethan - you are getting a first-hand dose of life! As frustrating as it is to run into the type of people you describe, it never goes away. I've worked with the same kind of people in multiple jobs
as well as at church. Hang in there and know that "all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good" (D&C 122:7)
@Sam - The closer the time comes to us actually leaving to drop you off at school, the less I want to think about it. I'm happy for you to be stepping out into the world, just know that you'll always
be my little girl!
Had my last church dance yesterday. Bit bittersweet, but it was still nice. Looking forward to life at college though!
It is getting closer to the time when we take Samantha to college...I'm starting to dread it!
